Terms of Service

Welcome to Sayoria. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sayoria website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Sayoria provides an AI-powered text-to-speech ("TTS") platform that converts written text into audio files in multiple languages. Users purchase credits via monthly subscriptions or one-time top-up packs, and use those credits to generate audio.

2. Eligibility & Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration and for safeguarding your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Payments & Merchant of Record

All payments for Sayoria are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, issues the invoice, and collects applicable taxes on our behalf. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the listed price. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Top-up packs are one-time purchases. Credits from top-ups never expire.
• Subscription credits refill monthly. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
• Prices are listed in US Dollars and may be presented in your local currency at checkout.

4. Credits & Usage

• 1 credit = 1 character of text for Standard voices. HD voices cost 2 credits per character.
• Credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value outside the Service.
• Each generation request must respect the maximum character limit shown in the tool.
• Generated audio files (MP3) downloaded by you may be used for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, subject to Section 6 below.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or harassing;
• Impersonate any real person without their permission, or generate audio intended to deceive (including fraudulent voice cloning);
• Distribute hate speech, content that incites violence, or sexual content involving minors;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse our infrastructure or rate limits;
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute credits or access to the Service without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Sayoria website, brand, software, and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
• The text you submit and the audio files you generate ("Your Content") remain yours. You retain all rights necessary to use the audio commercially, subject to Section 5.
• You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sending the text to our voice engine, returning the audio to you).
• Voice models are provided by Microsoft Azure and other licensed providers. You agree not to use generated audio in a way that violates the underlying provider's terms.

7. Service Availability

We work hard to keep Sayoria available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or factors beyond our control may cause downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sayoria and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and unused credits are forfeited (except where required by law).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of İzmir, Turkey, except where applicable consumer protection laws grant you the right to bring claims in your country of residence.
